“I started Oasis back in 2006, while working on my business degree. I had landscaped through high school as a summer job, and decided to no longer work for someone else. I have always believed in bringing value and integrity to construction, and have taken great inspiration from the likes of Mike Holmes and Bryan Baeumler.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At Oasis we believe in continual improvement, both in our skills and systems, as well as in our personal lives. In order to continue to be a better and growing leader for my team, I have, over the last couple years, started training and competing in Ironman races. In order to show up the best I can for my team, I need to be the best version of myself in all aspects of my life.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Joe Baker – Operations Manager<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Originating from Bristol England, and not Australia which most people tend to place me. I am a very keen horticulturist, beginning with the basics in the UK, then gardening in Nelson and Tofino before starting work towards my Red Seal in Victoria, where I was a gardening division manager. I then moved to Okotoks where I plan to continue my work towards my full Red Seal in Horticulture and Landscaping. I have travelled and lived in many different places, but now am happy to be settled and spending time with my son, Max. I spend my spare time reading, working on my garden or at the gym.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Steve Asiri – Production Manager<\/strong><\/h3>\n

“Originally from Toronto, Ontario, I moved to Calgary in 2013. I started in landscaping as a summer job when I was 13, and was the owner\/operator of LOTS Landscaping. I then moved over to the supply side of things while pursuing post-secondary education. I continued to develop my leadership skills as an operations manager for a construction supply company while I was obtaining degrees in Manufacturing Excellence & Lean Six Sigma. In my free time I enjoy hiking, martial arts, playing soccer, reading & playing music.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I’ve spent 16 years perfecting the art of irrigation, originally starting out in Winnipeg. As a proud father of four and the coach of my son’s football team, every day presents an opportunity to grow, teach, and inspire. My work isn’t just a career; it’s a reflection of my commitment to caring for both the earth and my family.”<\/p>\n
